Learning to do the right thing is a lifelong process that begins with asking God for discernment so we can clearly see our own sins and shortcomings. This sermon outlines four practical steps—seeking discernment, examining ourselves honestly, learning from the examples of Scripture and others, and making a firm decision to change—illustrated through the lives of David, Abraham, Israel, Judah, and Jesus Christ Himself. Today’s message encourages us to put these steps into practice so we may grow in godly character and consistently choose what is right in God’s sight.
