What Kind of Fruit Tree Are We?
Jeff Noggle - March 14, 2026
The fruit of the Spirit listed in Galatians 5—love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faith, meekness, and self-control—describes the character produced when God’s Spirit governs a believer’s life. Each quality carries rich meaning in the original Greek, emphasizing outgoing concern, steadfast endurance, and mastery over fleshly desires. When these fruits are consistently displayed, a person is living within the law of God and becomes a living testimony that teaches others simply by the way he lives.
