Fear Steals

Barney Rehm - September 13, 2025

Worldly fear is a thief that steals faith, hope, relationship with God, and the blessings He longs to give, often paralyzing believers and leading them into disobedience as it did King Saul. Scripture contrasts such fear with the courage of David, who faced Goliath in the name of the Eternal and overcame because he maintained a proper fear of God. Believers are therefore called to replace anxiety about danger, failure, and the unknown with confident trust that God will never leave or forsake those who diligently seek and obey Him.
