What Is the Church of God?

The Church of God is not a building, denomination, or human organization, but the spiritual body of all who have been called by the Father, have repented, been baptized, and received the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ alone is its Head and foundation—the Rock upon which it is built—while every member is a living stone joined together under His direct leadership. Its mission is therefore threefold: to allow Christ to lead in every matter, to preach the gospel of the Kingdom of God, and to help one another walk according to the Spirit and the Word.
