Seven Things God Hates

Proverbs 6 lists seven things that are an abomination to God: a proud look, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet swift to run to evil, a false witness, and one who sows discord among brethren. These sins, rooted in pride and self-exaltation, harm relationships and directly oppose the unity God desires for His people. Believers must therefore hate what God hates, cultivate the opposite virtues of humility, honesty, and peacemaking, and refuse to become instruments of division.
