Putting on the Character of Christ

The Feast of Unleavened Bread is far more than the removal of sin; it is about filling the resulting void with the holy, righteous character of Christ. Scripture warns that an empty house, once swept clean, invites worse spirits to return. After putting sin out, believers must deliberately put on the new creation—living no longer for themselves but for Christ—so that God’s Spirit and righteous character fill the heart and mind.
