Fundamental Beliefs
Our teachings and beliefs are based on the teachings of Jesus Christ and the first-century, apostolic Church. We adhere strictly to the entire Word of God, the Bible. The following statements present the fundamental beliefs of the Church of God in Truth and Love.
The Nature of God

The one, true, Most High God, the Eternal Father is present everywhere but has never been seen by men. Jesus Christ, His Son, has always existed alongside His Father. Jesus Christ was seen and worshipped long before He came as a man. He is our Lord and Master, Savior, Redeemer, High Priest, Intercessor, Mediator, and the Head of the Church. The Father and Son have the same character of love and outgoing concern and are one, which means They are completely united in purpose and will. God has all power, glory, wisdom, knowledge, and understanding. God created the universe, angels, and all life, including mankind.
